Throughout this Talk, Janet discovers the Royals’ association with animals, from the stories about the Ravens at the Tower of London,  and the menagerie that was kept there in the 1300s. During her childhood, Princess Victoris’s King Charles Spaniel “Dash” was her constant companion.  Her children loved dogs, and this affinity continued to the present day, with the Queen’s love of Corgis and horses.     Updated 12 May 2019
